We are looking for a skilled Shopify App Developer to help us build an app that will block the use of discount codes on the checkout page when there is a product that is already discounted on the list. The app should be able to fetch the products in the cart and check if any of them are already discounted, and then disable the discount code input field on the checkout page using JavaScript. The developer should also be able to check if a discount code is valid and if there is already a discounted product in the cart.

Responsibilities:

– Build and maintain the Shopify app
– Use the Shopify API to fetch the products in the cart and check if any of them are already discounted
– Use JavaScript to disable the discount code input field on the checkout page when a discounted product is found
– Check if a discount code is valid and if there is already a discounted product in the cart
– Customize the checkout page to integrate the app
– Use HTML, CSS, and Liquid to design the layout and style of the checkout page
– Ensure the app is secure and complies with Shopify’s guidelines


Requirements:

– Strong experience with Shopify app development
– Strong experience with JavaScript, Ruby, HTML, CSS, and Liquid
– Strong experience with web development concepts and principles
– Familiarity with GraphQL API is a plus
– Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
– Strong written and verbal communication skills
