I’m currently the CSO of a SaaS startup. I was previously co-founder/CEO of a mobile app startup. “C.E.O.” really stands for Cheif Everything Officer. I started my mobile app startup with no prior tech/startup background and have been through it all, so I know what works and doesn’t work. You don’t need a written business plan to get funded. No one reads them. To get funded, you need: A strong team, good storytelling, a pitch deck, pro-forma financial statements, and an appendix.

Highlights:
– Was 1 of 5 companies (out of 3,000+) that got accepted into a highly competitive venture accelerator program, which was also of the GAN Network. During the accelerator, I was mentored by various angels, business professionals, serial entrepreneurs, etc. I am also a member of the GAN, an exclusive network to accelerators, founders, and investors.
– I’ve been professionally coached by a funding strategist (who charges $10k for his services) on how to build pitch/investment decks and also on how to pitch.
– Raised initial startup capital (6-figures), currently raising (7-figure) institutional seed round.
– I’m familiar and connected with the east-coast and west-coast angel/VC community.
– Guided my company through a pivot after the initial product failed. We rebuilt a new MVP product and business model.
– Grew weekly active user growth by 9% per week (our user base was doubling every 8 weeks).
