Covid-19 🤬 up a lot! And now with a global recession looming, inflation and other macro factors at play. It is making business challenging for some, so you have a choice… Pivot, change, adapt, mothball or die as a business. Get in touch if you need clarity on a matter. (Busy generally. Many founders I meet, waste a ton of money doing stuff they should not be doing. 💸😭

1. Toiling away on stupid branding exercises for months when the focus should be sales.

2. Thinking Facebook/Google ads will save them when the actual product is average, or worse… 💩

3. Thinking that a few nice images/videos will make them a brand. (It won’t!)

4. Awful websites with poor conversion elements, but they still pour money into advertising thinking it will work.

5. Thinking you can set up an e-commerce business for a few hundred/thousand dollars.
(Surprise! You generally can’t!)

I am a luxury management consultant and (Fractional CMO for some) with a startup SME focus, £1k-£20m revenue mark. Previously at Tiffany & Co. Cartier and Rolex, then co-founded an award-winning fine jewellery (jewelry) startup. Took sales from $3k/month to $1.5m recurring by the second year. Awarded New Jeweller of the Year in its first year of trading and was featured in The Times, Forbes, Elle, Marie Claire, and various grade-A publications. Purely online first then bricks and clicks. Most recently I was the CEO for a fitness business, managing it from 300kish audience on youtube to 1.3m subs in a year and a half. Grew the rest from a whole new supplement brand launch and clothing products. All hiring, ideation and execution of projects.

* SALES- Set a record in sales for Europe Tiffany & Co.

* GROWTH- Grew my first online product to 100k visitors in 10 days.

* MARKETING- The last piece of content I made had 70k views and counting.

* BRANDING- Studied Design at Central St Martins. An eye to spot the good, bad, and fugly.

* BUSINESS- Postgrad at the Judge, Cambridge University. Mark in the first quartile.

No-bullshit approach to things. From an idea to the sale of your first product, been there and done that. I look at things holistically and objectively, you might come to me for copywriting but I will probably tell you to fix a more glaring issue beforehand…

I love founders and people at the beginning of their startup journey and small business owners too. I will hold one-hour consultations on here. I might reach out to be nosy if I like your problem.

Hire for a fixed hour consultation on here if you wish to talk. I don’t have 10 mins to chat about your project, be interviewed, gauge scope or write you a proposal. I do all that in a call. I get at least one company a week telling me their pending unicorn status. Booking the time cuts all the crap talk beforehand.

Be mindful of starting some long-winded conversation before the consultation. Please keep your brand URLs and major details out of the job post, as a lot of people visit the profile.

I will not discuss any of my previous clients, nor do I have to name drop who who I have worked with. I have no portfolio or CV (Resume.) Your business is the focus here, not others. Please don’t waste my time or invite me unless you read about my methodology and way of working.
